Born in Washington D.C., Mancia (Formerly known as Mic-Key) grew up the son of your regular Hispanic parents. He loved music from a very young age, always attending band practice at the church he grew up in. He would watch his dad sing and help direct the band. At age 12 he began playing the drums, (mostly because he kept getting in trouble for banging on the pews while the speaker was talking) and learned how to run the sound board and mix the instruments. When he turned 15 he joined a group called District of Christ led by one of the members of his church. He was intrigued because he was always writing poems and attempted to freestyle (although he wasn't any good at the time). He got so tired of using beats from other artists, due to always hearing "you can't use non-christian music to make christian music", that it led him to learning how to make beats in Fruity Loops 6 (FL Studio 6). The rest is history. With 15 years of writing and beat making, and audio engineering; he decided in 2018 to finally begin a musical career after the passing of his father who always challenged him to bring his best to the table when creating music. He dropped his first single "Adonde Voy" in June of 2018 and has pursued to showcase both his Lyrical and Music Production skill through releases of Beat Tapes and Singles which can be found on all major digital distribution platforms which include Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and Tidal.
